CONICA sealed wet pour safety surfacing is designed to provide impermeable, decorative, durable and safe surfaces for indoor play areas. Sealed wet pour surfacing is typically installed using two layers; a base layer of SBR recycled tyre rubber granule and a top layer of coloured EPDM granules. Both will be bound using a flexible, single part moisture curing polyurethane binder. The installed surface is then finished using a pore sealer and lacquer to make the surface impermeable and easy to clean, without affecting its flexibility, impact absorbing performance and safety. The extensive range of colours available enable bold and vibrant finishes to be created, that often include bespoke graphics that allow the surface to complement the overall design theme of the play space. In addition to our standard range of outstanding wet pour surfacing components, CONICA has developed a high-performance pore sealer and sealing lacquer combination to ensure that CONICA supplied indoor safety surfaces surpass durability and hygienic finish expectations. To further enhance the range of options available to customers, CONICA can now offer an indoor wet pour system that achieves an excellent fire test rating to EN13501-1 (Class Bfl – S1).
