About Us

As one of the UK's leading Playground Companies, we take our environmental and social responsibilities very seriously. We are committed to developing our business towards ethical, ecological, social and economic sustainability.

We are committed members of The Considerate Constructors Scheme, a not-for-profit, independent organisation founded to raise standards in the construction industry.

Construction sites, companies and suppliers voluntarily register with the Scheme and agree to abide by the Code of Considerate Practice, designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements.

The Scheme’s Code of Considerate Practice has three areas: Respect the Community, Care for the Environment and Value their Workforce and further focuses on five main aspects which are:

  • Care about Appearance
  • Respect the Community
  • Protect the Environment
  • Care about Safety
  • Value their Workforce

We support environmentally appropriate management of the UK's and World's forests. All UK woodland operations and timber supplies are derived from strictly controlled sources, either through a government body approved felling licences or forest/woodland management plans. The Forestry Commission and many private woodland owners operate under the sustainable timber certification scheme.

All wood supplied can be traced to a source using our suppliers’ internal systems, compliant with sustainable timber standards.

All wood supplied can be guaranteed as "sourced from sustainably managed forests, where all aspects of approved environmental practice are ensured".

Our plastic panels and posts are manufactured using 99% of the HDPE waste material and, and it is our policy to continue to works with suppliers who recycle as much of their waste materials as possible in the future. Since the end of 2009, our suppliers introduced 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) HDPE sheets and plastic timber profiles using a very high proportion PCR with the addition of a mineral to aid strength to the range.

Our surfacing manufacturer embraces a quality, environmental and health and safety policy is actively lived by each employee in every task. Using a systematic and continuous improvement process we collectively strive to:

  • Improve the quality of products and services
  • Reduce the consumption of natural resources
  • Avoid accidents
  • Exceed the expectations of our customers and improve their satisfaction

We aim to reduce the consumption of natural resources as a preventative measure and minimizes the environmental effects by recycling and closing of material cycles to avoid waste. In addition, we work with manufacturers to develop innovative products, e.g. with incorporated bio-based natural materials or with extended lifetime.

We are all committed to fully meet the applicable legal requirements from environmental and workplace safety law plus the internal site-related environmental targets and obligations through proactive actions.

The consistent implementation of our quality, environmental and health & safety policy through the involvement of each employee is the guarantee for sustainable growth and the success of our company. Our basic principle is to offer competitive products and services with high quality to our customers.
